AUTHOR!

Annemieke graduated in 1983 at the Catholic University Brabant and pursued a PhD in 1989 at the Netherlands Institute for Brain Research in Amsterdam. From then onwards, she worked at Solvay Pharmaceuticals BV and later at a CRO (TRAMARKO) for almost 10 years in total until she founded AUTHOR! Previous positions include: staff member Preclinical Pharmacology, staff member Drug Safety, and Clinical Research Director Phase I; and Medical Writer, Interim Head Biometrics, and Head Medical Services.

Annet graduated in 1993 at the University of Agriculture, Wageningen. After her graduation, she worked at The Netherlands Cancer Institute (Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital), Amsterdam, and was involved in setting-up, databasing, tabulating, and reporting of oncology trials. In 1996, she joined Solvay Pharmaceuticals BV as a SAS® Data Analist. A year later, she became coordinator of the SAS programmers group, and not much later she started her medical writer career. She joined AUTHOR! in 2001.

Daan graduated in 1994 at the University of Agriculture, Wageningen. After his graduation, he worked at Capgemini Nederland BV as technical consultant Peoplesoft and was involved in implementing Peoplesoft ERP solutions at various large renowned Dutch companies. In this function he acquired programming skills and gained both SQL and maintenance experience in Oracle and SQL server. In 2007, he joined AUTHOR! as a SAS Data Analist (certified Advanced Programmer for SAS®).

Tineke obtained a Masters degree in Biology from the University of Groningen in 1995. She worked 4 years as Ph.D. student at the Department of Medical Genetics, University of Groningen and thereafter 4 years as a Post-doc fellow at the Department of Medical Oncology, University of Groningen. In 2003, she started as Medical Writer at Pharma Bio-Research Group B.V. (currently PRA International), Zuidlaren. In 2005, she joined AUTHOR! as a medical writer.

Anita obtained a Masters degree in Health Sciences from Maastricht University in 1994, and worked for more than 10 years as writer/editor for a medical communications agency (Medunet Europe BV) and as safety associate for a pharmacovigilance consultancy (Vigilex). In 2007, she joined AUTHOR! as a medical writer.

Carolien obtained a Masters degree in Biomedical Science from the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2005 and pursued her PhD in 2009 at the department of General Internal Medicine, UMC St Radboud, Nijmegen. Thereafter, she worked at Synthon BV, Nijmegen, as pharmacovigilance manager and as drug safety associate at Schering-Plough, Houten. In 2010, she started her medical writer career at MSD (formerly Schering-Plough/Organon), Oss, and by the end of the year she joined AUTHOR! as medical writer.

Rolinka started at Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 1988 as a secretary within the Biometrics Department. In 1998 she became coordinator of the Document Production Group, responsible for the appendices to clinical study reports, and for formatting and styling of these reports. In 2007, she became global coordinator of the Technical Assistants, being responsible for defining standards and providing oversight and direction of all assigned activities of the Solvay technical assistants (bookmarking, hyperlinking, completing appendices, checking consistency of study reports). Other tasks included providing technical support for MS Office programs and the document management system, and creation of templates and macro’s in Word. In 2008, she completed two SAS-courses at the SAS Institute. In 2011, she joined AUTHOR! as a Biometrics Assistant.

Tinka obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Biology at the University of Groningen in 1995. After obtaining her PhD degree in Medical Science in 2001 at the University of Nijmegen, she worked at Solvay Pharmaceuticals BV (later Abbott Healthcare Products BV) as Group Leader, Study Director and Senior Scientist. She has 10 years of broad experience as pharmacologist in drug development. In 2011, she joined AUTHOR! as a medical writer.

Wendy obtained a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Health Science from the University of Nijmegen in 2001. After her graduation, she joined Pharma Bio-Research (currently PRA International) as a statistical SAS programmer. After one year she became a biometrician for Phase 1 and IIa trials and continued her work at PRA International for 9 years. She joined AUTHOR! as a SAS Data Analist in June 2011.
